State Coordinator – Immunisation Demand Generation (Oyo)

About the role

The State Coordinator will lead day‑to‑day implementation of the Immunisation Demand Generation (IDG) pilot in Oyo state, acting as Evidence Action’s primary field presence with state, LGA and health‑facility stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate implementation of the IDG pilot across selected LGAs, wards and facilities, applying technical guidance and SOPs.
• Support digital reminder, community ambassador and targeted incentive components, including data collection, ambassador recruitment and transport support.
• Provide regular progress updates, risk reports and field‑level learning to the Program Manager.
• Facilitate orientation and training for state, LGA and facility staff and support monitoring, learning and evaluation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, social sciences, community development or related field.
• 3–5 years experience implementing public health or behavior‑change programmes at state or LGA level in Nigeria, preferably in immunisation, maternal‑child health or nutrition.
• Familiarity with Oyo state health system and government structures is an advantage.
• Experience working directly with communities, health‑facility staff and routine data collection/reporting.

Required skills

• Ability to manage multiple activities across several LGAs.
