Star Development Coordinator

About the role

The Star Development Coordinator (SDC) is responsible for recruiting, training and onboarding competent Jaza Stars (sales agents) for new sites in the expansion pipeline, ensuring they are equipped to manage hubs and meet company goals.

Key responsibilities

• Advertise open Jaza Star positions extensively for new expansion sites.
• Monitor candidate pipeline and ensure sufficient qualified applicants for interviews and training.
• Arrange and conduct interviews, classroom training and on‑site training for recruits.
• Identify training needs, suggest updates to materials and flag changes to QA Expansion Operations.
• Oversee onboarding actions: register Jaza Stars on the Dashboard, set up Star App accounts, prepare contracts, upload documentation and maintain the Jaza Star registry.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Experience recruiting talent in rural environments and leveraging local networks.
• Ability to conduct in‑person interviews and assess both technical skills and cultural fit.
• Strong planning, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills for working in close‑knit communities.
• Familiarity with local languages or dialects and willingness to travel frequently to remote locations.
