Staff Nurse / First Aid Officer

About the role

E‑direct is seeking a dedicated Staff Nurse who will also serve as a First Aid Officer for its Marina location in Lagos. The role combines routine health monitoring with rapid response to minor injuries and medical emergencies, ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic first‑aid treatment for cuts, bruises, burns, sprains, nosebleeds and similar injuries.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, stabilise individuals and arrange professional medical assistance.
• Maintain confidentiality of all health‑related information.
• Monitor guests or employees who feel unwell, observe recovery and refer for further care when needed.
• Keep accurate records of incidents and treatments administered.
• Educate staff on hygiene, health and workplace safety practices.
• Promote preventive health measures and support wellness initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum SSCE or equivalent qualification.
• Certification in Basic First Aid, CPR or a related health‑safety course.
• Previous experience in first aid, workplace health support or caregiving is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to use basic health‑monitoring equipment.
