Site Supervisor

About the role

Ramos Real Estate Nigeria is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee its construction and development projects in Nigeria. The role is full-time and hybrid, based in Lekki, with some flexibility for work-from-home tasks. It covers day-to-day site activities so that work is completed on schedule, within budget and to the company's quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities, subcontractors and artisans, and coordinate with contractors and vendors
• Keep projects on schedule, on budget and to specification, and monitor materials, equipment and labour use
• Enforce health, safety and quality standards on site and ensure compliance with safety regulations
• Read and interpret architectural and structural drawings
• Monitor construction progress and send daily and weekly progress reports to the project manager
• Work with engineers, architects and clients to resolve issues on site
• Maintain accurate site documentation and report issues or risks to management
• Support client walkthroughs and handovers as needed

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Building Technology, Construction Management or a related field
• At least 3 years' experience supervising residential or commercial building sites
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and Nigerian building regulations
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
• Willingness to work on-site and travel to project locations
• HSE certification is an advantage

• Stakeholder management with contractors, vendors, clients and internal teams
• Quality control and safety compliance, including inspections
• Basic reporting, record-keeping and use of productivity or project management tools
