Senior Sales Specialist

About the role

Newage Mobile Concept Ltd is hiring a Senior Sales Specialist in Lagos (Marina). The role covers achieving sales targets across assigned channels, growing distributor and retailer relationships and driving product visibility in retail and modern trade.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets across assigned channels.
• Identify new business opportunities and expand market coverage in line with company strategy.
• Drive product visibility and placement in retail outlets and modern trade environments.
• Manage and grow relationships with distributors, wholesalers, retailers and key strategic accounts, conducting regular business reviews.
• Negotiate trade terms, pricing and promotions to improve sell-in and sell-out.
• Ensure in-store execution: product availability, pricing, planogram compliance and promotional placement.
• Work with marketing teams on trade marketing initiatives and product launches.
• Monitor competitors and market trends, and develop sales forecasts and business plans for assigned territories.
• Track sales performance, analyse data and prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
• 4-8 years of sales experience in FMCG, consumer electronics or similar fast-moving categories.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience with distributors, modern trade and general trade channels.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and travel as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
• Strong negotiation, communication and analytical skills.
