Senior Product QA Engineer

About the role

CredPal, a financial technology company offering credit cards, investment opportunities, wallets, cards, cross-border payments and internal tools, is hiring a Senior Product QA Engineer in its Product & Engineering department. The role leads quality assurance across the software development lifecycle, drives quality standards, identifies risks early and influences engineering decisions. It is a full-time, hybrid position.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end QA for web, mobile or enterprise applications
• Design and maintain test plans, test cases and automated test scripts
• Drive test automation strategy and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Perform functional, regression, integration, API and performance testing
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and DevOps teams during sprints and releases
• Identify, document and track defects, and carry out root cause analysis
• Mentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and promote best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• 5+ years of QA experience, preferably in fintech, SaaS or transactional systems
• Ability to lead quality initiatives across teams

Required skills

• Strong experience testing APIs and distributed systems
• Advanced SQL for reconciliation and data validation
• Automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium and REST Assured
• Integration of tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Solid understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture
• Bonus: performance testing, ledger systems, financial calculations, compliance environments or Kafka/RabbitMQ
