About the role
The Senior Marketing Manager will lead AIEGS’s Africa marketing efforts, designing and executing regional campaigns across digital, social, and traditional channels. The role focuses on building brand awareness, driving customer subscriptions, and supporting product adoption throughout Nigeria and West Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and launch integrated marketing campaigns that increase downloads, subscriptions, and active usage of AIEGS platforms.
- Create, implement, and continuously optimise marketing plans aligned with business objectives and regional expansion goals.
- Manage campaigns across email, social media, influencer partnerships, paid advertising, PR, and traditional media.
- Analyse consumer behaviour, competitor activity, and market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Allocate and manage marketing budgets to maximise ROI and reduce acquisition costs.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging, tone, and visual identity across all touchpoints.
- Drive user acquisition, retention, and subscription growth through data‑driven growth marketing tactics.
- Produce weekly and monthly performance reports, KPIs, and actionable insights for leadership.
- Build and nurture online and offline communities to enhance brand loyalty.
- Identify and manage strategic partnerships, sponsorships, affiliate programmes, and influencer collaborations.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, design, customer support, and social media teams to improve onboarding and product adoption.
- Lead marketing activities for new product launches, feature announcements, and regional campaigns.
Required profile
- Proven track record developing and executing marketing strategies for software subscription companies in Nigeria or West Africa.
- Demonstrated experience scaling digital products through acquisition, retention, and conversion optimisation.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present insights.
- Leadership experience managing cross‑functional marketing teams.
- Excellent collaboration skills to work with product, engineering, and support functions.
