Social Media Content Manager

About the role

Alveus Technology is seeking a proactive Social Media Content Manager to lead its online presence in Lagos. You will design and execute social media strategies that boost engagement, strengthen the brand, and support business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter.
• Create, edit, and schedule engaging content, including posts, stories, videos, and graphics.
• Maintain and update a content calendar to ensure consistent publishing.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on engagement metrics and campaign performance.
• Manage community interactions by responding to comments, messages, and fostering a positive online environment.
• Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to align content with overall brand messaging.
• Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and emerging tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and copywriting.
• Strong organizational abilities and experience handling content calendars.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with social media scheduling tools such as Hootsuite and Buffer.
• Graphic design basics using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Understanding of digital marketing principles and analytics.
