About the role
The (Senior) Manager, Right‑Fit Evidence leads a portfolio of evidence‑ and learning‑focused advisory services, helping implementing organisations, funders and government agencies make data‑driven decisions across development and humanitarian sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the execution of a portfolio of advisory engagements (70‑80% of time), overseeing multiple project teams.
- Serve as primary contact for clients, designing and delivering tailor‑made MEL and evidence solutions across sectors such as education, agriculture, technology and social protection.
- Lead the design, content and delivery of 2‑3 simultaneous engagements, including theory of change, mixed‑methods evaluation design, cost‑effectiveness modelling and data‑use guidance.
- Supervise 1‑2 RFE Advisors on project implementation and technical assistance.
- Advise IPA policy and country office teams on technical assistance, often in partnership with government entities.
- Manage project finances to ensure high‑quality outputs are delivered on or under budget.
- Contribute to business development (10‑20% of time) by shaping new engagement ideas, coordinating proposal development and representing RFE with funders and at events.
- Support innovation and continuous improvement of RFE products and services.
Required profile
- Proven experience managing advisory projects in development or humanitarian contexts.
- Strong background in monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) and evidence‑based decision making.
- Experience working with implementing organisations, funders and government agencies across multiple sectors.
- Ability to manage project budgets and deliver outputs within financial constraints.
- Demonstrated capacity to contribute to business development and proposal writing.
- Eligibility to work permanently in Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Kenya, Nigeria or Uganda.
