About the role
Gresyndale Legal, a pan‑African corporate and commercial law firm, is seeking an Associate 2 to join its Corporate & Commercial practice in Lekki, Lagos. The role is fully onsite and offers the opportunity to work on a variety of regulated sector transactions while developing client‑facing skills.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements, transaction documents, and board/shareholder documentation.
- Support corporate structuring, regulatory advisory, due diligence, company secretarial and transaction execution work.
- Conduct focused legal research and translate findings into practical advice for clients and supervising lawyers.
- Manage assigned workstreams and deadlines, flagging issues early and ensuring quality control.
- Maintain accurate matter records, filing discipline and clear written updates.
Required profile
- 3‑5/6 years post‑qualification or equivalent relevant legal experience.
- Strong grounding in Nigerian corporate and commercial law and familiarity with regulated transactions.
- Excellent legal drafting, research and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines with limited prompting.
- Good judgment, attention to detail and willingness to receive feedback.
