Sales Officer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Sales Officer to join Kenex Konsults International in Marina, Nigeria. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities and promoting our energy and utilities solutions to both new and existing clients.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new sales opportunities through calls, referrals, networking and field activities.
• Promote and sell company products and services to prospective and existing customers.
• Achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships and follow up leads to convert them into paying customers.
• Prepare quotations, sales proposals, invoices and other sales documents as needed.
• Negotiate prices and terms within company‑approved guidelines.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide accurate product and service information.
• Maintain an up‑to‑date database of customers, prospects and sales activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities and report insights to management.
• Attend meetings, exhibitions, promotional events and other business‑development activities.
• Prepare regular sales reports for the Sales Manager.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth delivery of products and services.
• Follow up with customers post‑sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience.
• Degree in a related field.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.
