Sales Manager

About the role

The Sales Manager will lead the sales function for Robeck Locks Ltd, driving growth across multiple branches and channels in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute practical sales plans to achieve company objectives.
• Set clear targets for branches, sales teams and individual members, and monitor performance.
• Lead, motivate, coach and hold the sales team accountable for results.
• Drive new customer acquisition, repeat business and growth in existing accounts.
• Support field sales activities and build relationships with wholesalers, furniture makers, builders, contractors and retailers.
• Ensure customer enquiries from branches and online channels are followed up and converted into sales.
• Work with marketing, stock and delivery teams to support promotions, product availability and order fulfilment.
• Monitor pricing, discounts and sales margins in line with company policies.
• Oversee customer payment follow‑up and compliance with approved credit terms.
• Provide management with clear sales reports, forecasts and recommendations for growth.

Required profile

• Minimum of an HND in Marketing, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• At least 3 years of relevant sales experience, including 1 year leading a sales team.
• Proven record of growing sales, achieving targets and improving team performance.
• Experience managing sales across multiple branches or channels is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, coaching, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Ability to analyse sales figures and turn findings into practical actions.
• Good knowledge of Lagos markets and willingness to visit branches, customers and project sites.
• Previous sales experience in furniture hardware, general hardware, building materials or a related sector is an advantage.
