Sales Engineer - IAT

About the role

Atlas Copco is seeking a Sales Engineer for its Compressor Technique division in Lagos, Nigeria. You will promote cutting‑edge compressed air and gas equipment, build trusted relationships with customers, and drive profitable sales.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Atlas Copco equipment and core values to the market, acting as a trusted consultant for compressed air and gas solutions.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, while identifying and expanding new customer bases.
• Prepare proposals and quotations, ensuring pricing strategies lead to profitable sales.
• Conduct site surveys, provide technical recommendations, and support sales demonstrations and negotiations.
• Report market activities, customer insights, and competitive analysis using sales tools and databases.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in engineering, technical products, capital goods, or construction equipment.
• Self‑driven, result‑oriented, with strong professionalism and a commitment to business profitability.
• Willingness to travel extensively and hold a clean driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in CRM software.
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Desirable knowledge or application experience in compressed air solutions.
