Researcher – Citizenship By Investment & Third‑Party Due Diligence

About the role

The role supports the Scaled Diligence Programmes team by conducting OSINT and HUMINT research to uncover reputational, criminal and ownership risks for clients. You will work under tight deadlines, delivering clear, concise reports on complex corporate structures and potential sanctions exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct media and database research using complex search criteria and a strict methodology for Citizenship By Investment, corporate compliance, ESG and financial crime projects.
• Analyse findings, rate risk according to standard or tailored methodologies and produce summary reports for internal stakeholders.
• Liaise with in‑country source networks to obtain information not available via open sources.
• Present briefings and findings to colleagues and collaborate on joint projects across the firm.

Required profile

• Passion for identifying money‑laundering and identity‑fraud indicators and assessing residual risk.
• Knowledge of commercial, legal, media and integrity risk landscapes in regions such as the former Soviet Union, Asia, sub‑Saharan Africa or MENA.
• Fluent written and spoken English with the ability to produce clear, business‑appropriate plain English.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple tasks to tight deadlines.
