Reliability Engineer III – Senior Level

About the role

We are seeking a senior Reliability Engineer III to lead reliability initiatives for major oil and gas assets in West Africa. You will shape lifecycle strategies, drive continuous improvement, and ensure high asset availability while adhering to safety and production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Implement comprehensive reliability engineering methodologies, root‑cause analysis (RCA) and risk‑management strategies.
• Analyze complex equipment data, benchmark performance against global standards, and drive systemic loss elimination.
• Develop and execute long‑term asset‑management and maintenance plans aligned with production goals.
• Provide technical leadership on major projects and act as the primary point of contact for complex engineering challenges.
• Facilitate communication across cross‑functional teams and stakeholders to integrate solutions seamlessly.
• Mentor junior engineers and champion the adoption of advanced predictive‑maintenance technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of reliability engineering experience in oil & gas production, refinery or processing facilities.
• Proven success in lifecycle asset management and large‑scale maintenance strategy development.
• Strong track record of leading technical projects and resolving critical operational issues independently.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
