Regional Business Development Officer – Enugu & Eastern Nigeria

About the role

The Regional Business Development Officer will drive referral growth, strategic partnerships, and market presence for AMCE across Eastern Nigeria, aligning with the Centre’s non‑communicable disease agenda.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a territory plan covering Enugu, Onitsha, Nnewi, Awka, Aba, Umuahia, and Owerri, prospecting and onboarding new referring partners.
• Build and maintain trust‑based relationships with healthcare providers, acting as the primary representative for AMCE in the East.
• Monitor competitive environment and healthcare trends, preparing weekly activity reports, pipeline forecasts, and market insights.
• Balance remote administrative work from Enugu with scheduled travel to partner sites, ensuring continuous engagement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of proven B2B field sales experience, preferably in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical services within Eastern Nigeria.
• Demonstrated track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets in a multi‑location territory.
• Must be based in Enugu with an existing network of healthcare providers in the Southeast.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote/field setting.
