Regional Account Manager – Africa (Commodity Market Intelligence)

About the role

Argus is the leading independent provider of market intelligence for the global energy and commodity markets. As the business expands across Africa, we are looking for a commercially‑driven, relationship‑focused Regional Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts. This role offers the chance to become a trusted advisor to clients and a recognised specialist in commodity market intelligence.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow an established portfolio of accounts across Africa.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision‑makers.
• Drive customer retention, contract renewals and identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Develop account plans to support long‑term revenue growth.
• Conduct regular customer reviews to understand business priorities and uncover new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal editorial, business development, customer success and marketing teams to ensure an outstanding customer experience.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, customer success, subscription sales or business development.
• Proven track record of retaining, renewing and growing strategic customer accounts.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Fluent English; French language skills are highly desirable.
• Willingness to travel across Africa (approximately 40‑60 % of the time).
