Recruitment Specialist – Nigeria

About the role

The Nigeria Recruitment Specialist will represent One Acre Fund’s global recruitment team in Minna, overseeing high‑volume hiring for the expanding program. You will partner with local HR and hiring managers to attract and select talent that drives agricultural impact across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Direct ownership of 10‑12 recruitment pipelines, managing end‑to‑end candidate screening, interviews, assessments and offers for roles ranging from junior to senior levels.
• Guide candidates through a multi‑step recruitment process, providing clear communication and excellent service.
• Partner with hiring managers to create interview materials, train them on recruitment platforms and support their hiring decisions.
• Collaborate with the Nigeria HR team and global recruitment function to align hiring strategy with program staffing targets.
• Ensure smooth hand‑over of new hires to onboarding and downstream HR processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in high‑volume recruitment, preferably in emerging markets or development organizations.
• Strong understanding of recruitment best practices and ability to influence stakeholders to follow global policies.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple pipelines simultaneously and meet tight timelines.
