QC & QA Engineer

About the role

The QC & QA Engineer will ensure that all construction activities meet the required quality standards and project specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Project Quality Management Plan, Inspection & Test Plans, and Method Statements.
• Conduct routine quality walks, sign off Concrete Pour Permits, and inspect rebar detailing, formwork, waterproofing, and structural elements before execution.
• Inspect incoming site materials, verify supplier test certificates, and oversee field/laboratory testing such as concrete cubes, slump, rebar tensile and soil compaction.
• Issue Non‑Conformance Reports, determine root causes, enforce corrective/preventive actions and verify closure.
• Maintain audit‑ready QA/QC logs, conduct pre‑handover snagging/punch‑listing, and witness Non‑Destructive Testing and water‑tightness tests.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or B.Eng. in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of QA/QC experience in heavy building construction, high‑rise developments or major civil projects.
• ISO 9001 Lead/Internal Auditor, CSWIP, NACE or OSHA/NEBOSH certification.
• Strong knowledge of ACI, ASTM, BS Eurocodes, concrete technology, waterproofing systems and reading structural/MEP shop drawings.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM 360, Procore, Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Advanced MS Office skills.
