About the role
The Purchasing Officer will support Grand Bezer Nigeria Limited’s hotel operations by managing the procurement process for all departments. This role ensures timely acquisition of quality goods while controlling costs and maintaining strong supplier relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Process approved purchase requisitions from all hotel departments.
- Obtain quotes, evaluate suppliers and negotiate pricing, delivery schedules and credit terms.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, track shipments and prevent stockouts.
- Collaborate with storekeepers, chefs and department heads to verify quality and invoice accuracy.
- Maintain supplier files, price comparisons, purchase records and inventory data.
- Support par‑stock management, monitor consumption trends and assist finance in minimizing waste.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
- Degree in a related field.
