Property Investment Analyst

About the role

RECAPSS is looking for a rigorous and commercially astute Property Investment Analyst to act as the financial engine behind its advisory services and development pipeline. The analyst builds complex financial models, runs feasibility studies and helps structure high-value real estate transactions, working across the full investment lifecycle from deal sourcing and preliminary assessment through feasibility, due diligence, acquisition, development and ongoing asset performance monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate acquisitions, developments, redevelopments and joint ventures, and prepare base-case, downside and upside scenarios with sensitivity analysis
• Build and maintain financial models and development feasibility studies, covering costs, income streams, financing structures and returns
• Support property valuations using comparable transactions, income capitalisation, DCF and residual land methods, and support negotiations with data-driven analysis
• Support commercial, financial and property due diligence, review title documents, surveys, planning and approvals, and maintain due diligence documentation and data rooms
• Prepare Investment Committee memoranda, feasibility reports and presentations, and support acquisition negotiations and transaction structuring
• Monitor active developments and investments, track costs, sales, leasing and cash flows, and update models as assumptions change

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Quantity Surveying, Business, Engineering or a related field
• 3 years of relevant experience in real estate investment, development, advisory, valuation, investment banking, private equity or transaction advisory
• Preferred: experience with developers, investment firms or private equity funds; knowledge of the Lagos property market; preferred qualifications such as CFA, RICS or NIESV
