Project Site Supervisor – Interior Design & Furniture Installation

About the role

DO.II Designs Limited is seeking a Project Site Supervisor to oversee interior design and furniture installation projects on Victoria Island, Lagos. You will act as the on‑site representative, ensuring installations meet quality standards, timelines, and client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑installation site visits to verify dimensions, wall straightness, floor levels, and power points, matching them against factory cutting lists.
• Supervise installers, carpenters, technicians, and casual labour, allocating tasks to maintain productivity and craftsmanship.
• Manage off‑loading and handling of finished furniture components, cross‑checking deliveries against manifests.
• Inspect installations progressively for finish quality, joint alignment, hardware fitting, and absence of scratches; log defects and coordinate replacements with the production team.
• Monitor project timelines, provide daily and weekly progress reports with photo documentation to the Project Manager and Head of Production.
• Serve as the primary liaison with clients, main contractors, MEP engineers, and site architects, addressing feedback and preventing structural clashes.

Required profile

• HND or B.Sc. in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related technical discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in site supervision, carpentry installation, fit‑out project management, or finishing works within furniture manufacturing or interior design.
• Strong measurement accuracy and familiarity with construction site environments.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting architectural drawings, structural layouts, assembly diagrams, and 3D floor plans.
• Proficiency with basic digital tracking tools such as Excel, WhatsApp reporting, and photo‑logging applications.
