Project and Business Operations Manager

About the role

The Project and Business Operations Manager will lead end‑to‑end execution of Grid Platform projects, ensuring timely deployment, commissioning and operational support. This role combines project planning, field team coordination and supplier management within the energy and utilities sector.

Key responsibilities

• Own project execution from planning and site readiness through deployment, installation, commissioning and operational support.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, risk registers and action trackers.
• Drive installation targets, maintain 100% Data Availability Rate for deployed controllers and coordinate recovery actions.
• Monitor field performance, resolve issues with controllers, meters, SIMs, connectivity and cloud systems.
• Manage installers and field teams, overseeing scheduling, readiness, documentation and issue resolution.
• Maintain accurate inventory visibility for equipment and coordinate supplier deliveries.
• Prepare leadership reports on progress, risks, blockers and decisions required.
• Track project costs and operational expenditure against approved budgets.
• Coordinate with utility stakeholders and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• HND or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in project management, business operations or field deployments within energy, telecommunications, IoT or related sectors.
• Proven ability to manage multi‑stakeholder projects with complex dependencies and deadlines.
• Experience coordinating field teams, installers, suppliers or technical deployments.

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
