Production Lead – Aluminium Extrusion

About the role

Rotic Aluminium Extrusion is seeking a Production Lead to manage daily shop‑floor operations in its aluminium extrusion facility. You will be responsible for driving productivity, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and fostering continuous improvement across the plant.

Key responsibilities

• Enforce safety, quality, and maintenance standards for all production activities.
• Lead and supervise daily shop‑floor operations to maintain smooth production flow.
• Implement TPM and lean manufacturing practices to minimise downtime and waste.
• Improve output, efficiency, and cost per unit.
• Coordinate manpower, shift schedules, and team productivity.
• Collaborate with planning, maintenance, logistics, and quality assurance teams.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives using data‑driven decision making.
• Train, mentor, and develop production staff.
• Maintain accurate production reports, operational records, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• B.Sc or HND in Engineering or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a production leadership role, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of TPM, lean manufacturing, and process optimisation.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
