Technician – HEMM Maintenance

About the role

The HEMM Maintenance Technician ensures that plant heavy equipment operates safely and efficiently. You will perform routine and corrective maintenance, support junior staff, and contribute to continuous improvement of maintenance practices.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily repairs and periodic preventive maintenance on various heavy‑duty equipment according to manufacturers' recommendations.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment before, during, and after each job.
• Provide on‑the‑job training to junior technicians to develop their technical skills.
• Diagnose diesel engines, hydraulic systems and transmissions, and initiate appropriate remedial actions.
• Assist engineers with spare‑parts planning and ensure compliance with ISO regulations.
• Suggest improvements to maintenance procedures and strictly follow company safety policies.

Required profile

• OND (or equivalent) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance (HEMM).
• Strong problem‑analysis and troubleshooting abilities.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
