About the role
The Procurement & Logistics Officer oversees the end-to-end procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing, purchasing and delivery of materials to project sites. The role supports project continuity through strong supplier relationships, optimized procurement costs and accurate documentation and inventory management. It combines strategic sourcing expertise with operational precision.
Key responsibilities
- Source and procure materials at optimal price and quality to meet project needs
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Negotiate and manage procurement contracts to secure favourable terms
- Coordinate transportation and logistics so materials arrive at project sites on time
- Monitor and manage inventory levels, keeping stock accurate for ongoing projects
- Prepare and process procurement documentation, including LPOs, waybills and delivery notes
