About the role
The Poultry Veterinary Doctor will diagnose, treat, and care for poultry animals, ensuring their health and wellbeing. This role involves research, quarantine management, and post-mortem examinations within an agricultural setting.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and treat injuries or diseases in poultry.
- Research diseases to determine optimal treatment methods.
- Implement quarantine and testing procedures for communicable diseases.
- Conduct post-mortem examinations to identify causes of death.
- Collaborate with veterinary assistants and technicians, guiding and supervising their work to meet standards.
Required profile
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Degree in Veterinary Medicine or a related field.
