About the role
The Pharmacy Technician will support pharmacological services by assembling, stocking and distributing medications, ensuring accurate record‑keeping and assisting patients and healthcare providers.
Key responsibilities
- Assemble, stock and distribute medications while maintaining accurate records of prescriptions and physician orders.
- Sort, label and monitor inventory of medications, ensuring proper storage and stock levels.
- Respond to patient and healthcare provider inquiries, answering questions and referring complex issues to the pharmacist.
- Follow rules, regulations and safety procedures, including sterilising equipment and surfaces.
- Process electronic prescriptions, verifying completeness and accuracy.
- Generate revenue by recording, calculating and issuing charges.
Required profile
- 2‑3 years of working experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role.
- Ability to comply with pharmacy regulations and maintain a clean, safe environment.
