Pharmacist – Retail Pharmacy Operations

About the role

Our client, a leading pharmaceutical chain store in Lagos, is looking for a qualified Pharmacist to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver high‑quality pharmaceutical care to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all daily pharmacy activities and ensure accurate dispensing of prescription medications.
• Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and general health concerns.
• Monitor compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and health‑safety requirements.
• Supervise pharmacy assistants and support staff, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Manage inventory levels, prevent stock shortages or expiries, and oversee stock replenishment.
• Review prescriptions for dosage accuracy, drug interactions, and therapeutic appropriateness.
• Maintain comprehensive pharmacy records and documentation in line with regulatory mandates.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient treatment outcomes.
• Ensure a clean, organised, and safe pharmacy environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (D.Pharm) from a recognised institution.
• Valid practising licence from the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• 2–3 years post‑qualification experience in a similar pharmacy role.
• Strong attention to detail, organisational ability and good communication skills.
• Residency in Ogudu, Ketu, Gbagada or surrounding areas.
• Availability to start work within three weeks.
