Packaging Officer

About the role

The Packaging Officer ensures that all refurbished terminals passing quality assurance are correctly packaged, labelled, and logged before they move to inventory for distribution. This role is key to maintaining product quality, presentation standards, and workflow compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Receive QA‑approved terminals and verify packaging checklist items such as charger, cable, frosted bag, serial label, and carton.
• Log each packaged terminal in the system, track daily/weekly performance, and coordinate push or collection with inventory officers.
• Maintain accurate records of packaged and unpackaged terminals, reporting discrepancies or damage immediately.
• Reject non‑conforming terminals, document reasons, and return them for re‑evaluation.
• Follow SOPs for packaging and material usage, and suggest process improvements in collaboration with repair and QA teams.

Required profile

• OND/HND/Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (preferred).
• Prior experience handling electronics, warehouse packaging, or operations support (preferred).

Required skills

• Strong attention to detail and process discipline.
• Familiarity with inventory or device tracking systems.
• Ability to follow structured workflows.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Physical stamina for extended handling of devices in a warehouse environment.
