Inventory Support Officer – POS Terminals

About the role

The Inventory Support Officer (ISO) for POS terminals is responsible for end‑to‑end custody of devices flowing through the repair pipeline, ensuring traceability, compliance and timely dispatch.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and log faulty terminals, verify serial numbers against waybills, and raise discrepancy reports for damaged or missing units.
• Assign devices to technicians, track their progress through assessment, repair, QA and dispatch stages, and enforce SLA windows.
• Update the IMS with QA status, flag devices that fail QA, and manage ‘Beyond Economic Repair’ items.
• Generate dispatch lists, scan devices during loading, obtain approvals, and close outbound transactions in the IMS.
• Conduct daily physical counts, reconcile inventory records, and participate in periodic wall‑to‑wall counts.
• Maintain labelled racks, enforce SOPs, and uphold audit, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Minimum OND qualification in a related discipline.
• At least 2 years of experience in inventory operations handling large volumes.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to work with limited supervision and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience using inventory management systems and workflow applications.
