Nigeria National Recruiter Manager

About the role

The Nigeria National Recruiter Manager will lead national recruitment and community outreach operations across Nigeria, with primary focus on Lagos. The role owns strategy and execution for recruiting qualified female contestants, engaging community organizations, churches, schools, NGOs, and partner groups for pageant programs and related community initiatives. The position reports to the international program director.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a national recruitment and outreach strategy for Lagos and other Nigerian regions.
• Plan and coordinate local outreach activities, events, information sessions, and partner meetings to generate qualified leads.
• Build and manage relationships with churches, NGOs, schools, community leaders, and partner organizations to establish pipelines and referral networks.
• Recruit, train, supervise, and support local staff, volunteers, or field representatives.
• Set regional recruitment targets, monitor progress, and report results to leadership.
• Design and apply measurable outreach strategies and performance metrics.
• Manage candidate screening and selection workflows and maintain basic data tracking systems.
• Represent the organization publicly and maintain professional conduct.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing recruitment, community outreach, or grassroots campaigns within Nigeria (preferably Lagos).
• 3+ years of recruitment, outreach, or program management experience in Nigeria.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to engage church leaders, NGOs, schools, and community groups respectfully and persuasively.
• Experience recruiting, training, and supervising local staff, volunteers, or field representatives.
• Demonstrated ability to develop outreach strategies, set targets, and measure campaign performance.
• Familiarity with candidate screening, selection workflows, and basic data tracking (spreadsheets or simple CRM tools).
• Excellent organizational skills: event coordination, stakeholder management, and follow‑up systems.
• Cultural sensitivity, integrity, and problem‑solving skills in field conditions.
