Networking Trainer

About the role

We are seeking a Networking Trainer to design and deliver comprehensive networking courses for our learners in Abuja. The role involves creating curriculum, conducting hands‑on sessions and ensuring trainees acquire practical skills in modern network technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training programs covering LAN/WAN, routing, switching, firewalls and network security.
• Develop and maintain course materials such as lecture notes, lab manuals and presentation decks.
• Conduct classroom, lab and virtual sessions for various skill levels, adapting content to learner needs.
• Assess training needs with centre management and IT stakeholders to set learning objectives.
• Provide hands‑on training using network simulation tools, routers, switches and related hardware/software.
• Troubleshoot and demonstrate network connectivity and security issues during training.
• Evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, feedback and performance metrics.
• Stay current with networking trends, new protocols and emerging technologies.
• Manage training resources and support learners throughout the program.

Required profile

• Degree in Network Technology, Computer Science, IT or related field.
• Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or CompTIA Network+.
• 3–5 years of experience in networking technology and at least 2 years of instructional experience.
• Strong ability to assess training needs and tailor content for different audiences.
