Network, Cabling and Systems Installation Technician

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Network, Cabling and Systems Installation Technician to join our team in Abuja. The role involves installing, testing and maintaining Ethernet, fibre and CCTV infrastructure for client sites, ensuring high‑quality workmanship and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Pull, dress, terminate, label and test Ethernet cabling according to approved plans.
• Install racks, patch panels, cable containment and support fibre installation and patching.
• Mount cameras, wireless access points, displays and related equipment safely.
• Assist engineers with racking and connecting servers, switches, firewalls and storage devices.
• Perform basic fault finding, cable repairs and routine maintenance.
• Maintain accurate labels, test results, work records and authorised installation photographs.
• Follow engineering drawings, site safety rules and workmanship standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of practical experience in network, CCTV, electrical, telecommunications or structured‑cabling installation.
• Hands‑on experience with Ethernet termination, testing, rack assembly and structured‑cabling work.
• Ability to use installation tools safely and interpret technical drawings.
• Attention to detail for labeling, tidy workmanship and reliable record keeping.
• Effective teamwork and communication skills.
