Member of Technical Staff - Robotics Lab (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a Member of Technical Staff for our Robotics Lab to work remotely on full‑time, high‑impact projects. You will design, develop, and deploy autonomous robotic systems, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to bring next‑generation platforms to market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement control algorithms, including kinematics, dynamics, and path planning.
• Develop software for perception, localization, and mapping using sensor‑fusion techniques.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and embedded systems with hardware engineers.
• Optimize robot performance for efficiency, reliability, and safety.
• Document technical specifications, test results, and deployment procedures.

Required profile

• Full‑time remote availability.
• Proven experience in robotics system development.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to troubleshoot complex systems.

Required skills

• Robotics frameworks: ROS, ROS 2.
• Programming languages: C++, Python.
• Real‑time control, embedded software, hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Computer vision, SLAM, sensor‑fusion techniques.
• Simulation tools: Gazebo, CoppeliaSim, NVIDIA Isaac Sim.
• Communication protocols: CAN, Ethernet, UDP.
• Version control: Git.
• Machine‑learning methods for robotics: reinforcement learning, imitation learning.
