Medical Representative – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Medical Representative to promote our pharmaceutical portfolio to healthcare professionals in Abeokuta and the wider Ogun State. The role involves building strong relationships with doctors, pharmacists and distributors to drive prescription uptake and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Drive prescription generation and increase product uptake.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Conduct regular market visits to ensure full territory coverage.
• Organise product presentations and promotional activities.
• Monitor competitor activities and market trends.
• Submit timely activity and sales reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 + years of pharmaceutical sales experience in Nigeria.
• HND in life sciences, pharmacy, biochemistry, microbiology or a related field.
• Strong understanding of distributor engagement and doctor‑call processes.
• Proven sales track record within the region.
• Ability to work independently and meet targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
