Mechanical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the maintenance, installation, and operation of mechanical equipment within our Oil & Gas projects in Port Harcourt. The role involves ensuring reliable plant performance while adhering to industry safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support maintenance, installation, and operation of mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in mechanical systems.
• Develop and execute preventive and corrective maintenance plans.
• Prepare technical reports and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Coordinate with other engineering teams to optimise operations.
• Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas safety and engineering standards.

Required profile

• B.Eng. or B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Relevant experience in the Oil & Gas industry (minimum 5 years).
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
• Good knowledge of HSE requirements and industry standards.
