Manager - Salon and Retail Operations

About the role

Whip-Smart Service Providers Limited is hiring a full-time Manager in Lagos (Marina/Lekki area) within the retail, fashion and FMCG sector. The role covers coordinating stylists, supervising staff, managing customer relationships and keeping stock and records accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Distribute and coordinate jobs among stylists to ensure an efficient workflow.
• Supervise staff and make sure assigned duties are completed effectively and on time.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure employees follow instructions and company procedures.
• Manage customer relationships and deliver a high standard of customer service; handle enquiries, requests, complaints and concerns professionally.
• Maintain accurate stock records and monitor product and supply availability.
• Handle stock keeping, filing and proper documentation of business records.
• Coordinate logistics and ensure timely movement and delivery of items when required.
• Keep the workplace clean, organised and orderly, and ensure equipment, products and work areas are maintained.
• Identify operational issues and take proactive steps to resolve them.
• Give regular updates to management on staff activities, stock levels, customer issues and general operations.
• Support daily business activities and perform other duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of OND or BSc in any relevant field.
• Previous experience in a managerial, supervisory, beauty, salon, retail or customer service role is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a team effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
