General Manager

About the role

Cyrus Doors & Joinery Ltd is hiring a General Manager in Lagos (Marina) for a full-time position. The role covers operations and project coordination, administration, payments and petty cash, procurement, staff management and reporting to the Executive Director.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ongoing projects, monitor progress, timelines and deliverables, and resolve delays and operational challenges promptly.
• Maintain company records, correspondence, contracts and official documents, and handle incorporations, registrations and renewals.
• Prepare and coordinate approved payments, expense requests and staff reimbursements, reconcile petty cash and track outstanding invoices.
• Obtain quotations, coordinate purchases of materials, equipment and supplies, and maintain supplier records.
• Coordinate staff attendance, leave requests, welfare and workplace concerns, and escalate unresolved matters to the Executive Director.
• Report regularly on projects, expenses, procurement, administration and staff matters, keeping a tracker of pending tasks and deadlines.

Required profile

• A minimum of 5 years of experience.
• A minimum of a degree in a related field.
• Integrity, discretion and financial accountability.
• Proactive problem-solving, independent decision-making and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
