Logistics Personnel

About the role

Kenex Konsults International is hiring a Logistics Personnel for Port Harcourt and Rivers State. The role covers coordinating the transport, distribution and delivery of goods, planning routes and schedules, and keeping records and documentation accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the transportation, distribution and delivery of goods to customers and designated locations.
• Plan delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely and cost-effective transport.
• Monitor goods from dispatch to final delivery and track shipments, resolving delays and discrepancies.
• Liaise with drivers, suppliers, vendors, customers and other departments.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, dispatches, inventory and transportation expenses.
• Ensure proper documentation of waybills, delivery notes, invoices and other logistics documents.
• Monitor the condition of goods during loading, transport and unloading.
• Assist with inventory control, stock movement and warehouse coordination where needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and transportation regulations.
• Prepare logistics reports and recommend improvements to operational efficiency.
• Monitor vehicle usage, fuel consumption and maintenance schedules where applicable.

Required profile

• Minimum of a BSc degree.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
