Logistics Officer – Magboro

About the role

The Logistics Officer will coordinate and manage the movement of goods at the Magboro location, ensuring timely deliveries and supporting efficient supply‑chain operations. This hands‑on role requires a detail‑oriented individual who can drive operational efficiency and maintain accurate logistics records.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and monitor the movement of goods to and from Magboro, ensuring on‑time delivery to outlets and other locations.
• Track shipments, resolve delivery issues or delays, and maintain proper logistics documentation such as delivery notes and waybills.
• Support inventory management, conduct periodic stock counts, and reconcile incoming and outgoing goods.
• Liaise with transport vendors and drivers, schedule vehicle usage, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Prepare regular logistics reports, track costs and contribute to cost‑optimization initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of experience in logistics, warehouse or supply‑chain operations.
• Good knowledge of inventory and distribution processes.
• Familiarity with Magboro and surrounding areas is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
