Learning & Development Officer (Remote)

About the role

A remote, full-time Learning & Development Officer is sought to manage employee learning initiatives, training programmes and capacity development. The ideal candidate is passionate about people development and understands modern L&D practices. The position is paid N150,000 per month (net).

Key responsibilities

• Conduct training needs assessments across departments.
• Design, develop and deliver training programmes, workshops and e-learning courses.
• Coordinate onboarding and orientation for new hires.
• Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and track attendance and effectiveness.
• Evaluate training outcomes and report on learning impact and ROI.
• Develop learning materials, manuals and job aids.
• Work with department heads on career development and succession planning.

Required profile

• B.Sc./HND in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration or a related field.
• 1-3 years of proven experience as a Learning & Development or Training Officer.
• Excellent knowledge of instructional design and learning methodologies.
• Strong communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage several tasks and meet deadlines.
• Reliable laptop and stable internet connection for remote work.
