Key Account Manager – HORECA

About the role

The Key Account Manager – HORECA will drive sales growth and build strong partnerships with hotels, restaurants, cafés and catering customers across Nigeria. You will develop customer strategies, execute trade initiatives and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver sustainable growth and maximise customer value.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute customer and channel strategies for Hotels, Restaurants, Cafés and Catering customers to drive profitable growth.
• Manage and grow strategic HORECA accounts, ensuring long‑term partnerships.
• Lead joint business planning, trade marketing and category management initiatives.
• Leverage market insights to create actionable plans and customer activation programs.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and supply‑chain teams to align on route‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
• 5–8 years of experience in key account management, sales or business development within FMCG, food service or HORECA channels.
• Proven track record of managing and growing strategic HORECA accounts.
• Strong commercial and negotiation skills, including experience in joint business planning.
• Good understanding of food‑service market dynamics and route‑to‑market strategies.
