About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Journalist and News Editor to research, investigate and report on a wide range of topics for our audience in Lagos. The role involves producing clear, accurate and engaging news content across multiple beats.
Key responsibilities
- Research, investigate and report on current affairs, breaking news, business, politics, entertainment, technology, sports and other relevant topics.
- Gather news through interviews, press conferences, official statements, field visits, public records and credible online sources.
- Write clear, accurate, engaging and well‑structured news articles, features, reports and investigative stories.
- Identify trending topics and newsworthy events relevant to the target audience.
- Conduct interviews with relevant individuals, experts, public officials, business owners and other news sources.
Required profile
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in journalism or related field.
- A minimum of an HND in a related field.
