Inventory Lead – Construction Asset Management

About the role

Harmony Gardens & Estate Development Limited is seeking an experienced Inventory Lead to provide operational control over the company’s inventory management function across multiple construction sites. The role ensures accurate records, protects assets, and guarantees the availability of critical materials for uninterrupted construction activities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement inventory management plans, set minimum/maximum stock levels, and forecast material requirements based on project schedules.
• Oversee receipt, storage, issuance, and movement of inventory items, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
• Conduct periodic stock counts, lead quarterly and annual physical inventories, and reconcile physical stock with system records.
• Secure inventory, minimise obsolete or damaged stock, and strengthen controls against theft and unauthorised movements.
• Prepare weekly status reports, monthly dashboards, quarterly variance analyses, and annual performance reports to identify trends and cost‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory or stores management within construction, real‑estate development, manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong knowledge of stock control systems, variance investigation and reconciliation processes.
• Ability to supervise inventory teams and coordinate activities across multiple sites.
• High attention to detail, integrity and a strong focus on asset protection.
• Relevant degree or HND in Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Logistics or related field; professional certification is a plus.
