Intern Pharmacist

About the role

ChemArt Pharmacy is hiring an Intern Pharmacist to join its retail pharmacy team. Working hours are 8am to 4pm or 1pm to 9pm, and 8am to 4pm or 2pm to 10pm, across the branches in VI, Ikoyi, Lekki and Oniru.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter medications in line with legal and professional guidelines.
• Provide medication counseling and education to customers on proper use, dosage and possible side effects.
• Maintain accurate patient records while keeping them confidential and compliant with regulatory standards.
• Help manage inventory so stock levels are kept and expired medicines are removed from shelves.
• Keep up with current pharmacy practices and trends through continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Pharm.D degree.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and pay attention to detail.
• Passion for patient care and pharmacy services.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmacy software and basic computer skills are an advantage.
