Insurance Sales Advisor – Hybrid (Lagos)

About the role

The Insurance Sales Advisor position is a full‑time hybrid role based in Lagos, offering a blend of office and remote work. You will engage prospective clients, present tailored insurance solutions, and guide them through coverage options that align with their protection and investment objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new leads through prospecting activities.
• Conduct client meetings, present proposals, and close sales.
• Explain policy terms, assist with documentation, and coordinate underwriting and claims with internal teams.
• Maintain accurate client records in compliance with company policies.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and participate in ongoing training.
• Represent the company professionally at client engagements and corporate events.

Required profile

• Strong interest and knowledge of insurance products.
• Foundational finance skills, including basic financial analysis and understanding of investment concepts.
• Consultative approach with ability to assess client needs and recommend solutions.
• Excellent customer service mindset with empathy and responsiveness.
• Clear written and verbal communication, strong presentation and interpersonal abilities.
• Relevant academic background in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or related fields; professional certifications are a plus.
