Instrumentation Engineer

About the role

The Instrumentation Engineer will support the operation and maintenance of instrumentation systems within our energy facilities. The role involves ensuring accurate measurement, calibration, and reliable performance of electrical and mechanical instruments.

Key responsibilities

• Perform calibration of basic electrical and mechanical instruments according to required standards.
• Inspect, test, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation systems and equipment.
• Verify instrument accuracy and ensure proper functionality.
• Identify and resolve basic instrumentation, calibration, and measurement issues.
• Conduct routine checks and preventive maintenance on instrumentation equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of calibration, testing, repairs, and maintenance activities.
• Assist with installation, commissioning, and adjustment of instrumentation equipment when required.
• Follow company safety procedures, technical standards, and operational guidelines.
• Report faulty or unreliable instruments and recommend corrective actions.

Required profile

• Minimum qualification of a B.Sc.
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar instrumentation role.
