About the role
The Human Resources & Administration Manager (HR&AM) oversees all HR functions and administrative operations for the FFPr Nigeria project, ensuring compliance with partner policies, Nigerian labour law and donor regulations. Based in Lagos, the role supports the Chief of Party and staff with recruitment, payroll, training, performance management and office management.
Key responsibilities
- Lead full‑cycle recruitment, onboarding, performance evaluation, promotions and off‑boarding while ensuring transparent, bias‑free processes.
- Maintain accurate HR records, payroll, benefits administration and compliance with the Pension Reform Act, NSITF, ITF and PAYE tax obligations.
- Provide training on USG, USDA and POA policies, including sexual harassment and code of conduct.
- Coordinate Lagos office administration, travel logistics, procurement support, inventory control and office maintenance.
- Support internal and external audits, ensure zero‑tolerance for corruption and promote safeguarding policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum eight years of HR experience in international NGOs or donor‑funded projects, with proven full‑cycle recruitment and payroll expertise.
- In‑depth knowledge of Nigerian labour legislation (Labour Act, Pension Reform Act) and donor compliance (2 CFR Part 200).
- Experience collaborating with finance, program and senior leadership teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS) and payroll software.
- Recruitment and screening tools and techniques.
- Document and archive management systems.
- Strong understanding of HR compliance and statutory reporting.
