About the role
Samsung Heavy Industries Nigeria (SHIN) is a leading player in the country’s oil and gas and maritime sectors, operating Africa’s first and only FPSO integration yard in Lagos. The Human Resource Specialist will manage core HR functions, support manpower planning, payroll administration and insurance coordination to ensure smooth operations across the organization. Reporting directly to the HR Manager, the role involves preparing HR reports, managing employee contracts, and ensuring compliance with insurance and pension regulations.
Key responsibilities
- Payroll Administration

- Knowledge of Insurance (pension, GLI, other forms of insurance)
- HR Reporting
- Contract Management
Required profile
- BSc. in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, Business Admin or HR related courses
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Excel
